Whether producing his own music or working with other artists, Matt uses the approach that best serves the song and the artist. Some tracks are recorded live, with the musicians performing together in the same room. These songs receive minimal editing and tuning to preserve their rawness and emotion.
Other songs are built track by track, carefully tuned, and placed “on the grid.” This modern approach creates the tightness and polish found in much of today’s music.
